Kathy Dragon, Founder and Owner of The Dragon’s Path
has over 20 years experience in adventure and educational travel in
every aspect of the market including guide, general manager, owner and
consultant. She brings a unique perspective to the past and future of
active travel. Kathy has grown her organization to offer a handful of
more physically challenging and culturally enriching “Women’s Only”
departures including The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu combined with an
organic retreat center, a women’s hike in the Julian Alps of Slovenia,
and women’s cultural walking programs in Nepal, Bhutan and India. As a
passionate entrepreneur, Kathy has been instrumental in the development
of both large adventure travel companies as well as an E-Commerce
company. She has been a frequent speaker at Marketing to Women, Boomer Market Summit, and The Adventure Travel World Summit and Good and Green Marketing Summit as well consulted for a number of companies on how to reach and market to boomers from her home in Boulder, Colorado.

As Visionary of
Kathy strives to connect women with her extensive network of friends,
guides, tour operators, boutique properties, outdoor retailers and
travelers around the world. She hopes to assist other small active
travel businesses in marketing themselves as well as understanding the
importance of women as decision makers in travel.

Kathy’s newest venture is TravelDragon,
a resource of 1000’s of experiential tours offered by the top tour
providers in the world. You’ll find a community of like minded
travelers and the ability to research, compare, share and review trips
and providers. When not traveling or in front of her MacBook, you’ll
find Kathy on the trail, any trail (running, biking, hiking, skiing)
with her energetic dog Mila from her home in Boulder CO.
